Guru Purnima

Join us this Wednesday evening at 7:45 pm to celebrate Guru Purnima. On this special evening we will honor the great saints, sages and and wonderful teachers who have uplifted our lives.

Guru Purnima is celebrated once a year on the full moon after summer solstice. The word “Guru” in Sanskrit is translated as “dispeller of darkness.” A Guru dispels the seeker’s ignorance, allowing them to experience the source of creation within.

This evening will have opening prayers, readings from sacred texts, candle lighting ceremony, blessings and meditation. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
